Both the post and postmodernism are a part of the exhibition “Postwoman”. Old artworks are often cited and put into a new context in postmodernism. New and old times connect and communicate where old classical paintings are put into a new context. Were the women who posed and were painted a few hundred years ago perhaps more satisfied with their body than we the modern women who often wish to be so thin that we almost disappear?

The artworks at the exhibition were sent by post which is one way to send messages and communicate. The World Wide Web has brought to us into present times a variety of modern “postways” to communicate. What effect does the Internet have on our connection with our body and each other?
